The Lamborghini Aventador, Nissan GT-R, and BMW M5 CS are currently dominating the market as some of the fastest cars available for purchase.
If you’re in the market for a car that can take off with ease on wet roads, then your best bet is to look for one equipped with all-wheel drive. The folks at CarWow had the perfect set of wheels to put this theory to the test, with three powerful all-wheel drive cars participating in their latest drag race.
We’re talking about three magnificent beasts here: a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, a BMW M5 CS, and a Nissan GT-R Nismo. While they belong to different segments, they share one thing in common: their impressive straight-line performance.
According to the specs, the Aventador SVJ appears to be the fastest with its 6.5-liter V12 engine producing 759 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque. The BMW M5’s twin-turbocharged V8 engine generates 635 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, while the Nissan GT-R Nismo’s older 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine churns out 600 horsepower and 481 lb-ft of torque.
